Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an amazing opportunity with a very well established and growing client. The role is an Export Sales Executive. However, we are open to experience within Area Sales, UK Sales, National/International Sales, Business Development Manager or International Sales Executive, please do not hesitate to apply as our client does not require export experience.

There will be international travel involved with this role, and they would expect every 2 weeks out of 4 will be spent overseas but not including weekends.

Our client is offering excellent benefits which include an excellent Christmas Profit Bonus and many more. Our client is also willing to offer negotiable salary which will be dependant on experience.

The ideal candidate should be able to do the following:

-Initial Area responsibility for Europe, Scandinavia, Baltics, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Latin America.
-Profit and Loss Responsibility
-Pricing controls and involvement in margin expectancy
-Inherit £500K of profitable sales in existing above mentioned countries
-Targeted to develop at least £120K new business in 2019
-Managing existing Agents, Distributors and agreements
-Develop the existing accounts where possible
-Develop New business in existing countries and new countries within area responsibility
-Responsibility for debtor book across area responsibility
-Liaising intercompany with export admin, purchasing, production, logistics in order to progress chase orders taken and making sure they ship
-Attending international exhibitions that we exhibit at
-Looking for potential new exhibitions to attend
-Involvement in product development / new product opportunities.
-Export marketing and involvement with client/Regulatory managers to ensure product legal compliance
-Market research and identification of new business
-Manage own time, arrangements, and budget for business trips and travel
-Manage own expenditure
-Travel plan will ultimately be left to the individual, expecting to travel as a rough guide 15-20 weeks per year, although this is flexible but not an office based role.
-Should be based at the Beverley Factories when in the UK.
-Host overseas visitors should they wish to visit the factory.
-Liaise with other 3rd party companies/groups (like UKTI, or UK customers) to assist with export needs
-Build relationships with industry experts / companies in the supply chain
-Attend networking / seminar / export events as and when required

We are looking for someone with National Sales knowledge within the UK or Internationally.
