Job Description

Our client is a leader in their field sustainable energy, due to progression they have a requirement for a Inventory Management (Downstream Flow) Controller based in of Swindon.,


Inventory Management ( Downstream ) Controller to join their team.

Duties include:

o Lead the Master Production Plan (MPP) process with the other functions and ensure of the right implementation.
o Supervise for the plant the waiting queue management and implement the queue management together with the methods engineer
o Monitor and improve the downstream SC performance at plant level
o To be in a continuous improvement approach
o Being the main controller for the service level and downstream inventory management.
o Train, supervise and support the flow controllers on the day to day activities when applicable.
o Follow the global supply chain guidelines in terms if downstream management when required.
o High level of SAP experience is required especially for portfolio and stock management.
o Responsible for the forecast updates and the FG stock readiness for rebate orders.
o Follow up the daily order intake and drive the daily supply chain downstream KPIs to the best in class.
o Ensure the update, quality and consistency of key parameters of supply and stock management (ex : Replenishment Lead Time, Quantity, Frequency, Stocking policy...)
o Design the organization of internal flows (physical and informational) according to SPS rules and update internal stock Kanban parameters when required.
o Manage the finished goods stock figures as per the GSC guidelines.

You will have:-
o Previous work experience in supply chain (essential)
o High level of downstream experience,
o Very good in communication and project management
o Engineering or Manufacturing background is preferred.
o Bachelor's degree is required & MBA is preferred but not essential.
o High level of SAP system experience is required
