Job Description

Role - IT Administrator
Location: Tunbidge Wells
Temp role with the possibility of a permanent role.
£10.50 per hour with increases dependant on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday 8.30am till 3.30pm - could be made full time
Term time only
Immediate start
Enhanced DBS required (we will complete this for the successful candidate)

We are currently recruiting for our client based just outside of Tunbridge Wells to support their busy IT department.

This role is working 38 weeks a year in term time is an office based role Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm. The position is to start temp with the possibility to become permanent after a qualifying period.
Your support in the IT department will involve your working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Office 365 and Sharepoint applications.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for IT and previous working experience of first line support via phone and email correspondence. Duties will also include creating user accounts in Office 365, manage permission and password, provide remote and hands on support to queries and equipment requests (this could include moving computers, installing software etc).
To join the team you will need to be methodical, have good attention to detail and work well in a team.

Duties will include
-Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current operating systems and standard software packages, including both Microsoft 365 and other packages used.
-Hardware builds and software updates
-Setup and deployment of new IT equipment for users
-Providing access for users and training so that they can use the technology successfully
-Provision of telephone/email/in-person/remote access support
-Ensuring remote learning is available to all students as/when needed
-Resolving IT requests and providing solutions to issues arising
-Responding to equipment support requests (e.g., changing printer toner, replacing cables, setting up projectors, moving computers, installing software etc.)
-Asset management of IT equipment and resources
-Liaison with other agencies/providers to ensure the school IT network is maintained and operational
-Assisting with project work as part of our digital transformation and IT strategy
-Assisting the Data Manager with solutions to achieve the school`s digital aims and objectives
