Job Description
My public sector client based in Central Birmingham is looking for an IT Customer Service Team member to provide IT support for their organisation. This is a temporary assignment, Monday to Friday starting on £8.63 and going up to £12.92 in the 13th week.
Your role will be the face of IT, providing both Customer Service and 2nd line IT support for each location covered by their organisation. This role may involve some overnight travel in order to attend other office sites, so flexibility would be needed.
You must be able to use a service management tool to log and track incidents. You must be able to diagnose issues effectively and efficiently, be able to provide customer support across multiple locations, and within this, meeting rooms and desk spaces.
You must have good face to face communication and interpersonal skills, together with good experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Android and Apple devices and products.
