Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of the Leicestershire Police for a communications support analyst to join their IT support team at their head office in Enderby.

The role will be assisting with maintenance and support of the forces critical support network, providing a service management and support function to the force during a period of several new roll out projects. This will see new fleets of equipment such as smart phones, body cameras and ANPR equipment deployed to operational staff within the force. Duties will include but are not limited to;

• Offer technical support for damaged or faulty equipment, act as the middle man between members of the force and the suppliers for equipment that is not able to be fixed on site.
• Dealing directly with suppliers to arrange collection of faulty equipment still under warranty that cannot be fixed in site.
• Offering advice and support to members of the force once new equipment has been deployed.

Successful candidates will come from an IT support background, they must also have experience working with commutation technology, Radios, networks and mobiles and ideally supported with the roll out within an organisation. You must have excellent commutation and customer service skills, able to work to tight deadlines and able to manage numerous projects at once.

This role will be an initial 6 month temporary contract working from 08.00 - 16.00, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate of pay is £13.25 per hour.
