About this role;

Our client now has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Field Engineer to join their IT team. Working within a technically sound team you will be using your technical awareness and expertise to deliver IT Solutions including installations & system upgrades through to trouble shooting and maintenance.

The role involves liaising with users either remotely or face to face providing support for all software & hardware issues. About you;

You will be a friendly, outgoing person with exceptional communication skills, able to interact confidently with technical and non-technical users.

Key skills and Experience;

* Experience providing 1st & 2nd Line Support in a Windows environment
* Windows Server 2012/2016 * Exchange 2013/Office 365 * Virtualisation/VMWare
* Networking/(TCP/IP), LAN and WAN environments
* Exceptional communication skills able to interact confidently with technical and non-technical users
* Customer focused, with experience of providing advice and guidance over the telephone, e-mail and Internet with a proven track record of service delivery
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability of working within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst showing initiative at all times and an ability to apply a lateral thought process to problem
