Job Description

We are partnering up with our well renowned Civil Service clients, supporting them in their search for IT Helpdesk Advisors.

Contract: Full Time, Temporary Employment (6 Months with a view to extension and possible permanent position)
Hourly Rate: £8.77
Location: Longbenton
Hours of Work: Shift Patterns, earliest attendance 7am, latest attendance 6pm Monday - Friday
Start Date: 12th August 2019 (need to be able to attend Interviews on 25th or 26th July 2019).

The department is carrying out a small scale recruitment exercise to gain new staff for their first line support team. Successful applicants will assist service users with a wide range of applications and infrastructures, working toward maximum optimisation of the technology available. Communications will arise through a variety of mediums, including calls, emails and webchats. Daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Query Management
Diagnosing and repairing user's issues
Escalating issues when necessary
Capturing data quickly and accurately, logging job details in full for ease of resolution across departments
Maintaining exceptionally high standards through all communications

A proven track record providing customer service
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A strong focus on analytics and problem solving
The ability to work to changing deadlines and priorities
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
