Job Description

Brook Street is currently recruiting I.T. Helpdesk Agents in Telford.

The I.T. Helpdesk Agent provides first line support and customer service for I.T. users via telephone, email or web chats.

Ideally, you will have either a background in Customer Service or IT, whether this be through study, work or a genuine passion for all things I.T.

Initially, this is a six month temporary assignment with permanent prospects thereafter.

You will attend an in-house group training course for approximately four weeks along with other new starters to learn all about the role and the processes.

Working within a friendly, team environment you will be taking calls and web chats from users, to understand the issues they are experiencing.

You will be fully trained how to fix the issues or assign to the appropriate team for resolution.

A key part of the role is data capturing. This involves logging information in full detail, ensuring the information is clearly and concisely written.

Main responsibilities and tasks include being a professional, helpful character and being a flexible person who can adapt to any situation whilst offering an excellent customer service.
