IT Infrastructure Engineer

Wage - £30,000 Per Year

My client is on the lookout for a person that's curious and likes to look under the bonnet of systems and products, that understands networks, servers and server installations.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Hosted, Infrastructure and IT, the successful candidate will share responsibility for the installation and maintenance of my client's hosted services. This role will also aid in the migration and supporting of business-critical service to Azure as well as existing physical infrastructure.

Responsibilities
" Assist in the design and building of service architecture and networking, both physical and cloud based
" Monitor and maintain Email Platforms
" Champion security as part of the wider team.
" Out of hours assistance for critical issues (rota basis)

Essential Experience & Skills
" Windows Server 2012r2/2016/2019
" Windows Server Core
" Microsoft Exchange Administration (2016/2019)
" Active Directory Administration
" PowerShell Scripting

Desirable Experience & Skills (but not essential)
" Cisco Firewall Experience
" Cisco Switch and Router Experience (CCNA)
" Office 365 configuration and deployment
" Azure configuration and management (AZ100, AZ101 or similar)
" Knowledge of Linux (Centos)
