Job Description

Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst to work for Leicestershire Police. The role will initially be based out of HQ in Enderby whist training and then will become flexible with 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home - equipment provided. The working hours are 8am-4pm Mon to Fri, paying £12.34 per hour, 6 months assignment initially.

The role will involve working on the IT helpdesk dealing with first line queries raised internally.

Duties for this role will include;
- Logging calls from users and where possible offering solutions to issues or escalating where needed.
- Maintain accurate log entries
- Carry out ad-hoc system tasks
- Respond to general queries in a timely and effective manner

The successful candidate will ideally come from an IT background and have previous experience working on a service desk. You must also have excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal) and feel comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels within the organisation.

Please note that successful candidates must pass police vetting which can take around 4 to 6 weeks to clear.
