Our client is seeking temporary support on their IT Service Desk
Our public sector client are based in the city centre on good transport links. They offer a modern working environment and a great opportunity to gain experience in the public sector.
The role is as a call centre operator within the IT Service Desk, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a shift pattern. Shift patterns will be between the hours of 07.30 and 18.30.
Duties will may include but not be limited to
* Answering of telephone calls
* Obtaining end user information, ie contact details, nature of the issue/error messages etc
* Logging the calls accurately onto the call/ticket logging system
* Password Resets
Ideal candidates will have very good IT knowledge, experience in IT is essential. NHS experience is desirable.

Excellent communication skills and telephone matter
Excellent listing skills
Note taking skills
Ability to use the computer systems
Good command of English
The pay rate is £10.83 per hour rising to £12.38 after 12 weeks, benefits include holiday pay and pension scheme
