Our client a leading law firm based in the centre of Cardiff is looking for a permanent IT Service Desk Technician to provide cover for 1st line service desk calls when required.
You will be prioritising and scheduling problems and escalating problems to the appropriate IT team member and 3rd party service providers. You will be monitoring, maintaining, developing, troubleshooting and upgrading of all IT systems, including all hardware, operating systems and software. You will be the point of contact in alerting end users to system failures and perform daily checks of all IT systems, including email and internet monitoring.
You will need to have ITIL knowledge with IT project experience. Highly proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Software, including Office 365 with the ability to analytically troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
