Junior Administrator/Office Assistant

Job Description

We are currently working with an Engineering firm based in Central London, recruiting for an Office Assistant/Junior Administrator to join them initially on a 1 year fixed term contract (possibility of extension after this). This would suit someone looking for their first office administration role, or alternatively someone looking to get back into work after time off.

Salary: £17,000-£18,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Key responsibilities:
- Answering calls
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Creating projects on company database
- Booking meeting rooms
- Sorting and distribution of post
- Arranging couriers
- Photocopying and scanning
- Admin support to Directors on occasion
- Other ad hoc office duties

To be considered for this opportunity:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Thorough and methodical approach to work
- Highly organised
- Good team player

- 23 days annual leave (3 days to be taken over Christmas) + bank holidays
