Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our flagship branch based in beautiful Covent Garden.

As a Junior Consultant, you will be responsible for cold calling businesses in Central London to introduce yourself and the services Brook Street can offer. You will build rapport with decision makers such as HR/Recruitment Managers and heads of departments, providing a consultative approach and standing out from the crowd. As well as business development, you will also be tasked with matching and sourcing suitable applicants for jobs you are working on.

A day in the life of a Junior Consultant...
You'll arrive by 8.45am, grab a tea or coffee and get ready to start your day. Having sat down with your Manager to plan out your day, you might start by going through your emails, responding to queries and general admin tasks.

At 10am, you'll jump on the phone and start contacting local businesses to introduce yourself; through specific open questions, you'll find that some companies use agencies. Although the decision maker might not be available to speak with on that call, you'll set a call back to ensure you continue to build rapport (80% of businesses will convert after 5+ calls so you'll need to be tenacious and not give up!).

At 12pm you'll get some lunch and be back at your desk ready to tackle the afternoon. At this point you may have a job to match on so you'll check your advert responses and use job sites and social media to source suitable applicants. Once you've found some suitable candidates, you'll check through their CVs and send to your client, following up to ensure a timely response. You'll head home around 5.30pm ready to smash the next day!

Successful recruiters have often never considered this industry; if you are money-motivated, keen to succeed and are passionate about building relationships then get in touch. We can't train you to be motivated, however we can provide you with the skills and tools to become highly successful.

A starting salary of £20,500 is available plus you will earn monthly commission on everything you bill from day one! How much you make depends on how much you put in, so be prepared to work hard. Our incentives include weekly, monthly and quarterly vouchers, lunches, and socialising as a team including nights out. Further company incentives include trips abroad and annual awards ceremonies!
