Position - Junior Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary - Up to £28,000 Depending on qualifications and experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with an HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or Mechanical Engineering BEng/MEng (Hons) to join a profitable international bespoke engineering business based near Castleford.

The Role

Your main responsibilities within this forward-thinking team will be Mechanical Design starting with principle calculations right through to concept design. You will work to the customers Design Specifications, producing detailed 3D modelling designs along with detailed 2D drawings.

A big part of the role will be Project Management, working with the customer you will keep them happy, updated and deal with any concerns along the way. You will also be required to manage and direct suppliers and the workshop to produce the finished design to the highest quality and on time.

Travel will be required within this position UK and overseas, travelling for Design, technical meetings and commissioning.

What my client needs from you

" Experience within any level of Mechanical Design Engineering
" HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent
" Ideally Mechanical Engineering BEng/MEng Hons but not essential
" Passport for overseas Travel
" Driving licence for UK Travel
" Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Project
" Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault would be an advantage but again not essential.
" A history in Heavy Engineering fabrications and knowledge of Burners, Hydraulics, Pneumatic would be beneficial but not essential.
