Based primarily in Milton Keynes (Key Account customer site), the Coordinator will offer full operational & administrative support to the staff within the shipping/forwarding department on site and the Leeds Branch. You may also be required to work from time to time (advance notice given) at their sister site in Felinfach, Wales to provide holiday cover and support where necessary.
Your job will be to collate and supply shipment information to the customer, branch staff and Account Manager and liaise with Leeds Branch on administrative tasks where necessary. You will organise transport by air/road & sea with completion of Dangerous Goods paperwork for all modes of transportation. Data Entry via operational system Excel spreadsheets, filing of paperwork and completion of Export Documentation.
To be considered for this role you should have extensive knowledge of Dangerous Goods (all modes) regulations essential, Excellent people and communication skills. You will be Self-confident and motivated to enable competent interaction with staff, suppliers and customers. Excellent Customer Service skills combined with high service level ethic and the ability to work as part of a team or independently. You will have knowledge of Export procedures and documentation and be able to work in a pressurised environment.
Hazardous Qualifications - IATA - essential IMDG & ADR preferable.
Salary is £26,000+ depending on experience
