Job Description

Brook Street are working with our client in Dublin to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager The role is located in Republic of Ireland but will involve working across the North of Ireland also.

An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a new Key Account Manager in Ireland reporting directly to the Sales Director UK & ROI.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts for multiple customers and successfully building new business sales propositions to achieve agreed sales targets.

The client is looking for a motivated individual with strong experience of account management and sales success.

The Key Account Manager will work with the senior leadership team to grow sales within their existing customer portfolio and to develop opportunities within new sectors and verticals.

The role will involve a great deal of autonomy so it is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to prove themselves and take their career to the next level by shaping the direction of commercial activities throughout Ireland

Key Accountability's

* Responsible for account portfolio growth and a new business sales target
* Managing a portfolio of existing accounts, looking for new strategies to drive revenue and growth
* Building Account Development Plans including contact strategies within portfolio base
* Researching and building new business verticals
* Sales pipeline management, utilising the companies CRM system
* Agreeing processes for inventory events with customers.
* Maintaining customer procedure documents that ensure the integrity of all data reported to customers


Essential Criteria

* Experience in the stocktaking and inventory industry
* Experience and evidence of success in previous sales or account management roles
* Strong relationship building skills
* The ability to relate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, including full Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
* An effective relationship builder with an appetite for a challenge
* Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate in a variety of methods with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of all levels
* The ability to work autonomously, flexibly and as part of a team.
* Full driving license

Desirable

* Experience in the merchandising industry
* Degree Level qualification
