BS Social Care are hiring for a new and exciting role based in Bradford. Our client is a nationally recognised charity for both Children and their families and has partnerships with multiple organisations.

Your role as a Key Worker means you will provide intensive support to families where young people are potentially vulnerable to crime and gang related issues. This will be on a one to one or group basis, you will also work with services and health agencies meanwhile taking full responsibility for complex situations.

This is an ongoing assignment. You will be working full time hours (37 hrs per week) and your hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. You may be asked to work occasional evenings.

There is also a possibility of the role becoming permanent. Please only apply if you are looking for Temp to Perm work and can commit to full time hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, young people and families. It is essential you have a minimum of 2 years experience working in this environment, or alternatively 1 years experience along with NVQ Level 3 in a related qualification. You would ideally also hold a Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle. Please only apply if you meet this criteria.

You will also need to have an Enhanced DBS on the update service, or alternatively be willing to pay £50 for a DBS directly through Brook Street Disclosures, be able to provide 5 years worth of references and also provide eligibility to work in the UK - eg Driving License, Passport and Proof of NI.

The hourly rate of pay will be a generous £11.95 per hour, if the position is made the salary will be between £23,000 - £25,000 per year.
