Job Description

Brook Street UK Ltd are delighted to be resourcing CV`s for a Laboratory Anaylst within the Chemistry Team for our client based in Larne

Our client has advised us that the role is 40 hours per week and is temporary up to 6 months

The successful applicant will perform the below tasks
Performing laboratory analysis based on documented analytical methods and procedures.
Analysis to the appropriate test specification of raw materials, finished goods and any other routine and non-routine analysis as required.
Participate in process validation work linked to routine manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
Carry out routine calibration activities of laboratory equipment and ensure that all such equipment is maintained in good working order.
Contribute to the writing of specifications, analytical methods and validation of methods.
Contribute and participate in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in meeting ongoing metric driven goals and KPIs


To be shortlisted for this role, applicants must demonstrate on their CV the below qualifications and ability to work to deadlines:
Higher level education qualification in a chemistry related science or a closely-related subject (e.g. HND, foundation degree
Experience working in an analytical laboratory with a good knowledge of GLP.
Able to work to strict deadlines.
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
It would be a distinct advantage for the client, if the successful applicant had knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, analytical method development and validation and the calibration of equipment.
Knowledge use and maintenance of HPLC, AA, UV, FTIR, ICP-OES and -MS, and GC.
Knowledge and experience working to ICH Quality guidelines for Validation


In return, you will be paid an hourly rate between £11.53 and £13.70 depending on experience
