Job Description

I am actively seeking a lead care coordinator/deputy manager to join a busy domiciliary care service in the Solihull area.

This is an exciting opportunity that offers scope and potential to work for an established, quality focused provider who delivers high quality care to people with a range of needs in their own homes.

The service is currently rated "Good" with CQC.

This is a unique opportunity that has a focus on both team and service management, as well as all the supernumerary tasks required within a busy domiciliary care office. Your time will be spent within both the office and community environment, providing hands on management and high quality person centred care and support.

You will be required to manage enquiries; both face to face and on the phone, liaise and delegate effectively within the staff team, coordinate and maintain client schedules on a monthly, weekly and daily basis and monitor carer hours and punctuality.

You will be required, from time to time, to cover client visits and will share responsibility for the on call phone.

This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled care professional who is seeking the first step into management and to ultimately progress into a deputy manager role.

I am looking for applications from candidates who have a significant background within the domiciliary care sector and who can demonstrate excellent rota/scheduling knowledge and experience. You will possess comprehensive CQC knowledge and be competent in working as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative

As you will be the lead care coordinator, you must already have extensive knowledge and experience of rota management, domiciliary care policies and procedures and be 100% committed to making a difference to the lives of the people you support.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. In terms of qualifications, you must hold a minimum of the QCF level 3 in health and social care as a minimum and be working towards a relevant care management qualification.

Employment within a care coordinator, deputy manager or trainee manager capacity for home care services is essential to be considered for this exciting role.

This rewarding opportunity is offering a competitive salary and development opportunities. You will also benefit from a generous annual leave allowance, continued training and development and other appealing benefits.
