Job Description

A well established large organization is recruiting for a lead Support Workers for their Supportive Living Services in Stonehaven, Mornmist in Nailsworth and will also be required to do Floating Support in Gloucestershire & Cheltenham. You will be working with Adults, who have learning disabilities, Down syndrome and no challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them on the bank, appointments, health visits and in the community
- Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
- Some aspects or personal care

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Must be a car driver with your own car
- Hold a NVQ / OCF level 2 or above
- Female candidates needed due to the service user needs

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £17,753 per annum = £9.23 an hour
- Atleast 1 sleep-in per week paid at £70.47 per sleep = extra £3,664 per annum
- We have upto 37 hour contracts available, Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Shifts can vary between 7am - 10pm and sleep-ins is 10pm - 7am
