Lean Manufacturing Engineer.

I am currently working with a company based in Leamington Spa who are looking to recruit a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join their company.

You will be responsible for reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and the role focuses on supporting the transformation of the production methods and techniques.

The hours of the role are Monday -Thursday 7.15am to 16.15pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm

In this role you will be able to showcase your excellent relationship building skills where you will be able to work with different departments providing daily support and resolution of production issues where you can implement suggestions for improvement. You will also have the ability to design and implement new facility layouts and Develop training materials on lean tools and techniques whilst training others.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to Degree level in manufacturing, industrial, production, process engineering or equivalent with specific emphasis on Lean Manufacturing.

You will also have a deep understanding of Lean Philosophy and proven track record of implementing Lean tools and techniques i.e. VSM, Kanban, SMED, 5S, Pull, Kaizen, PFEP, Visual Management, PDCA.

In addition to the above you will be an excellent communicator that can influence at all levels throughout a business and you will be someone that can work on their own initiative improving and implementing new process throughout the business.

We can offer this exciting opportunity for someone to join our hard working yet rewarding team on a salary of £30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
