Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning & Development Officer
This particular role, is a high priority for the commission and will support the implementation of a new case management system for the majority of colleagues. The role will initially be based in Liverpool during the design period, however, there will be significant travel during the delivery phase to our offices in London, Taunton and Newport.
To work within project team as the L&D sole lead, to identify and implement a training plan to support the delivery of a caseworkers system upgrade, along with delivery of business process changes.
You will be responsible for working with external providers and internal SMES to develop technical and business process training, to be delivered to end users.
The role will be responsible for the full cycle of L&D, from co-ordinating the logistical plan, developing material and approach, and gaining sign-off, through to delivery and assessment of training.
Training to be delivered to circa 300 internal staff across different geographical locations including Liverpool, London, Taunton and Newport.
Work with Super users
Produce a detailed training plan.
Delivery of SME workshops to gain sign-off for approaches
Co-ordinate governance and controls over training
Project updates
Project delivery meetings
Project Board Meetings
Responsible for highlighting risks, and potential mitigations in regards to training schedule and roll out.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working within an L&D
Training Design
Training Facilitation
Experience of identifying training needs & implementing solutions
L&D assessment
Proactive and self-motivated, with a 'can do' attitude
Able to work in a fast paced complex organisation, multitask and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication, engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
CIPD qualified - preferable
Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
Strong organisational skills
Strong team player, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholder group
Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately
Ability to work autonomously, with the confidence to make independent decisions
Preferable to have experience of design and delivering technical training
Preferable experience of CRM / Dynamics 365 training / Casework management system
