Learning and Development Trainer

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional Learning and Development Trainer working for a fantastic company based in York, you will need access to a car.

The successful candidate will be afforded the opportunity to understand the company values and experience the company model with a view to be competent in the delivery of the model and have the competence and knowledge to deliver the following Programmes linked to our services:

Pre-employment programme for women, young people and the over 45s

Visionary Women - The Awakening, 6 Secrets to Success, Quantum You, Transformation Coaching

Level 3 Access to HE Business, Law and Nursing and Midwifery Programmes (AIM Awards)

Leadership Navigator - Level, 3, 4 and 5 ILM

Team Leader - Level 2 ILM

Leadership Programmes aligned to the apprenticeship standards

You will lead and facilitate the delivery of training, leadership and management, personal transformation and focused workshops, supporting employers and customers on their business development and career journeys. From senior management and director level, mid and junior management and those looking to change direction and or gain long term, sustainable employment.

Working with our senior management team, associate trainers, coaches and employers you are required to develop sector/subject focused programmes helping achieve successful business and personal goals i.e. personal growth and development, qualifications, job outcomes and wider contractual targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with clients from diverse groups and at a senior level. Ideally you will have delivered to delegates from disenfranchised backgrounds. You will have experience working in a coaching, information, advice and guidance capacity. We are looking for demonstrable experience engaging with and understanding employer's needs, regards, skills and talent development at all levels within organisations. Level 3 or above IAG qualification and previous experience of Work Based Learning and Assessing is desirable. Also CTTLS (or equivalent). You'll need proven experience of the delivery.

You must therefore have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to encourage and motivate effectively, and set clear objectives to ensure learners achieve their aims.


In return you will receive a salary of £30,000, 28 days holiday which increases with service, fantastic working environment and opportunities to travel.
