Job Description

BS Social Care are looking for great Residential Support Workers that are experienced in Learning Disabilities.

Successful candidates will be required to support the service users in all aspects of the daily lives. This can range from support with life skills, including meal preparation, helping with domestic tasks, activity planning and encouraging participation with all tasks the service users undertake. You will be able to help prepare the service users for the next step in their journey.

You will be working in a lovely home in Maccesfield with a garden, which gives those who love a bit of gardening to show off their skills.
You will have the opportunity to support up to five service users

We are looking for candidates to start a temporary to permanent contract, where you will be working 12 weeks on a temporary basis then go on to a permanent contract.

The shifts would consist of waking night shifts starting from 11pm-8:30am or days 10.15am - 11pm.

Successful candidates will have 12 months experience and 5 years of references. Or 6 months experience with an NVQ in the relevant field.
You will also need a valid DBS and on the update service.
