Job Description

Learning Disability - Support Worker

Trowbridge, Bath - Up to £12.50 p/h + holiday pay + benefits

Shifts - Days 7:30-21:30 /Nights - 21:30-07:30

The Role:

This service has 3 Female service users, each one with slightly different behaviours and needs. We can tell you in more detail about these over the phone, all 3 women have a sever form of learning disability with each one having their own joys and struggles to work with. The manager has 30 years experience in care and the deputy has 20, so you can trust you will be in good hands since they have been there, done it, and know how to support you in the best way possible. The 3rd service user is moving in at the end of august, so they will need new staff to be able to commit to consistent shift patterns to give the service users a sense of familiarity. To work with us, you will need:
" 6 months paid, hands-on experience or recently undertaken training
" To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
" Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
" Desirable: DBS on the update service
