Full Time/Part Time - Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Bristol - Up to £10.50 p/h + holiday pay + benefits

Shifts - 8am-8pm

Here at BS Social Care, we're looking for reliable and experienced support workers to join our Agency due to a large increase in working with a community based service for adults with learning disabilities in Kingswood, Bristol. Within your role, you will be helping support highly reputable organisations across various residential homes for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, and other additional needs.
Personal Care & Meds training is particularly desirable.

This role:
You will be supporting 5 male and 2 Female serice users, some require personal care, changing of incontinent pads and prompting, others require basic sign language (taught on job) and others low level challenging beheviour. Also cleaning duties, interacting with the service users and prompting them to go to bed and take medication if needed. The Staff here have been acknowleged for being extremely helpful and supportive to all agency staff, helping you settle in and get to grips with your role. Currently looking for day cover only, shifts are from 8am-8pm.

To work with us, you will need:
" 6 months paid, hands-on experience or recently undertaken training
" To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
" Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
" Desirable: DBS on the update service
