Job Description

Our public sector client based in Central Birmingham is looking for a Learning Support Officer to work alongside their People Capability Team to support and assess learning needs, then design, develop and deliver training products. This is a temporary on-going assignment Monday to Friday paying £11.46 p/hr, working full time 37.00 hours a week.

The role will be to support multiple project and service teams with their training and learning needs. You will engage with project stake holders from within the organisation to design innovative learning products in line with projects and demand. You will need to analyse what the learning needs will be and then take the lead in planning, designing and developing appropriate learning material. You would then be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of learning, and facilitating training where required.

Part of your role will be to also collate learning evaluations and review data to identify areas and make recommendations for improvement in all aspects of the training process.

You will need to have strong IT skills (e.g. proficient in O365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project etc.) and be able to manipulate, compile and interpret data in Excel and PowerPoint; producing digital and presentation material where necessary. Experience of designing learning products with an emphasis on digital learning would be ideal.
