Job Description

Our client is looking for a Legal Cashier to work in a busy, team playing environment, close to Liverpool City Centre

Main job objective
To act as a legal cashier for clients appointed to you and to ensure all your work for all your clients conforms to the latest SAR, LSC and LEXCEL standards

List of main duties
To post all accounting transactions in accordance with company procedures, SAR for your allocated clients and any other sites as given to you
To set up of new matters and recording of time transactions for your allocated clients and any other sites as given to you
To produce daily/weekly/monthly audit trails and reports in accordance with company policies and procedures and SAR. This will include management reports, bank, client balance, LAA and VAT reconciliation`s
To liaise with clients, auditors etc to answer queries and offer suggestions
To visit clients sites when deemed necessary by your manager
To maintain internal systems of control (including filing, computerised records and reporting sheets)
To escalate immediately to your manager any issues that have, or in your opinion may arise relating to any client or procedure

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' previous cashiering experience
Used to being in a busy and vibrant team
Be responsible for the full range of cashiering duties for each of these.

This role is extremely diverse, and no two days are ever the same which promotes deep job satisfaction. It's a fast-paced environment so you must be capable of managing a varied workload, achieving deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy too.
