Job Description
My well established Solicitors based in Surrey are looking for a Practice Manager
The firm have been established since the 1940`s and have numerous departments that specialism in different areas of Law
The role is a diverse Office Manager position that covers Administration Officer, Quality manager, Compliance Officer and Accounts Manager duties.
Admin Officer duties:
Complete PC renewal and firm registration;
Complete office insurance renewal;
Complete professional Indemnity insurance renewal
Complete annual salary review
Calculate Christmas bonus
Ensure Solicitor's accounts rules completed on time
Complete data protection act
Maintain records of salary information
Other duties required
QUALITY OFFICER/COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Monitor each month; Supervisions, CPD, Client care surveys, Claims and complaints registers, COFA checklist, Staff appraisal checklist
Ensure office manual is updated regularly
Prepare for annual ISO audit
Update claims and complaint register
Report and update claims to insurers
Maintain quality audit records
Maintain CPD record for qualified staff
ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Oversee preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts
Comment on the accounts as required
Ensure that all accounts staff comply with requirements of the office
Prepare and submit the VAT return
Ensure that payment of VAT is prepared on time
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the legal industry and have similar experience
Must have good technical experience, practice manager and accounts managing experience
