We are looking to hire an experienced Legal Secretary who will support the partners and team. This role will be integral in maintaining the high standard of service offered towards our clients, ensuring the provision of a high-quality and efficient team secretarial service. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy corporate environment. We are looking for someone with excellent client care skills, able to deal with internal and external clients, with excellent organisational and communication skills, and a high level of IT literacy and advanced administrative ability, especially within high-pressure situations with conflicting deadlines. Beyond this, we are looking for someone with a reliable work ethic and a `can-do` approach to their responsibilities.
Diary management for the team.
Comprehensive e-mail management - checking, prioritising and summarising e-mails daily
Collating documentation for meetings and circulating agendas in advance.
Compile client records, correspondence and legal documents to a high standard and in compliance with business policy.
Proof-reading of documents to ensure the delivery of work of the highest quality
Booking attendance at conferences/seminars (including national and international travel) and organising business trip itineraries and logistics.
Produce weekly/monthly reports with progress of accounts.
Manage the front office in line with all company requirements eg fire alarm tests and monthly facilities checks.
The ideal candidate will have the following;
Work experience as a Legal Secretary working in a busy legal firm.
The ability to work unsupervised and under pressure to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and be able to use their own initiative.
