Job title: Legal Secretary - Private Client
Hours: 35 hours a week - Monday - Friday (Possibility for part time hours)
My client is a bespoke private client firm offering high quality, accessible legal advice to individuals throughout England and Wales. Due to continual success and growth, they are currently recruiting for a professional Legal Secretary to support their Managing Director within Private Client Services. The business has a fantastic reputation for the development of their staff and creating a progressive and dynamic work environment.
Legal Secretary responsibilities:
" You will be responsible for audio typing, word processing and assisting with file management
" Accurately create and input documents from digital dictation onto the case management system, checking with the Legal Advisor on any unclear details
" Draft straightforward legal documents using the precedents provided, filing documents online where appropriate
" Adhere to the firm`s strict confidential policies regarding paperwork
" Additional administrative tasks when required
Legal Secretary desired Skills and Experience:
" Previous working history in a Legal Secretarial or Legal Administrative role essential - Private client, wills and probate preferred
" You must be a competent audio typist with fast and accurate typing ability - A minimum of 60WPM.
" Good basic knowledge of practice areas
" Experience supporting senior staff and associates
" Must be comfortable working to tight deadlines and providing exceptional client and customer care
The Legal Secretary position offers a competitive basic salary up to £20K, plus additional company benefits.
There is the option for this position to be part time hours for the right candidate with the relevant, essential experience.
