Scotland wide legal firm are currently seeking a legal secretary to assist the Inverness team. If you are a legal secretary with experience dealing with private practice and in particular residential conveyancing and private client areas.
The role will include:-
Client facing communication
Digital dictation transcription correspondence
Audio and copy typing of correspondence
Preparation of relevant private client documents
preparation of draft fee notes following established procedures
Diary management and arrangement of meetings, travel and functions
File management, both hard copy and soft copy using client management software
The ideal candidate will have the following specific requirements:-
Demonstrated experience of working within a legal environment in the production of relevant documents
Communication skills that demonstrate professional and polished conduct with clients, partners and employees
Audio and copy typing speed of at least 60wpm
comfortable with use of email communication
Demonstrated knowledge and use of track changes and mail merge
Working knowledge and confidence in office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimiles, etc.
Ability to work with, and willingness to take direction from various levels of legal staff from partner to trainee
Pleasant telephone manner and ability to field telephone call and assist clients with their queries
The salary for this role will offer up to £23,000 based on experience.
