I am recruiting for an experienced Wills and Probate Legal Secretary based in Tamworth with an immediate start available.
MY client provides a comprehensive legal service for business clients and private individuals. The solicitors do not 'dabble' in various areas of legal work. They are all specialists within their field and are able to provide you with accurate, up-to date legal advice.
This position is critical in supporting the solicitors within the Wills and Probate department, conducting general legal secretary duties.
- Drafting letters/correspondence
- Dealing with incoming/outgoing post
- Diary management
- Managing deadlines
- Dealing with routine correspondence
- Update filing
- Managing an inbox
- Meeting with clients
- Identify documents that need sending to clients
- Liaise with third parties (Police, Social Services/Guardians)
- Wills and Probate Legal secretary experience is essential
As well as first class administration and organizational skills, you must have fast, accurate typing skills, and be comfortable with using online document management systems.
The successful candidate must be confident and comfortable dealing with clients on a face to face basis and conducting meetings if the Solicitor is not available.

Salary and Benefits
- £18000 - £20000 dependant on experience
- 20 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday rising to 25days after 12 months
