Job Description
Job Title: Lettings/Sales Assistant
Location: Doncaster, Auckley
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Flexible start / finish times available, on a rota basis)
Salary: £18,000+ per annum
We are looking for a Lettings and Sales Assistant to join one of our highly accredited clients specialising in Property industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to kick start their career within Real Estate and has a keen interest in all things Property.
The successful Lettings and Sales Assistant must be ambitious, proactive, and extremely organised.
As a Lettings and Sales Assistant, you will be supporting tenants with their move ins into their new letting's property, as well as, supporting tenants with their new purchases - making sure it's a smooth process throughout.
Main Responsibilities:
Lettings
- Coordinating and managing new tenant move ins - arranging move in dates, assisting Home Team booking this in their diary.
- Pre-screening tenants to establish their suitability - this includes referencing.
- Collecting deposit - making sure the transfer completed successfully prior granting a move in date.
- Responding to calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Dealing with general tenant queries, carrying out admin duties and responding to letters from tenants.
- Sending out important documents to the tenant: Tenancy agreement, GDPR, Welcome Packs.
- Handling tenant complaints/disputes effectively and efficiently - escalating those to relevant Managers.
- Recovering any owed money.
Sales
- Coordinating new purchases and on-boarding process.
- Sending out pre-purchase/notification, reminder, and completion letter to tenants regarding their new purchase.
- Contacting tenants by telephone in a professional manner.
- Collecting any relevant data regarding tenant's details.
- Introducing the tenants to the business: New Landlord introductions
- Liaising with Councils.
- Liaising with tenants regarding Universal Credit Claims.
- Passing the enquiry on to colleagues in On-boarding.
