I have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Level 3 Qualified Shift Leader to work within a Residential Children's Service in Gloucester. You will be working within a small and independent service supporting Children and Young People up to the ages of 18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Day-to-Day duties may include;
-Undertake shift leading duties, taking a lead role in incident response
-Acting as a positive 'parenting' role model for other staff and young people
-Promoting and supporting young people with social skills and building positive relationships and friendships
-Supporting young people to meet their full potential
-Providing supervision to allocated team members
-Working closely with the Registered Manager and deputising for them in their absence
-Maintaining a safe living and working environment

Pay/Contract;
-Salary; £21,630 per annum (not including sleep ins)
-Sleep ins are paid at £35 per sleep
-This is for a Full Time position
-The shifts follow a 4 week rolling rota
-You will be required to work alternate weekends

Candidate Requirements;
-You must hold an NVQ/QCF/Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People
-Experience working within Children's Residential Services
-Holding a full and clean driving license
