An opportunity has arisen for a Lift Service Engineer to join an established lift service and maintenance company, covering a route across South Coast.

With years of experience in lift service and maintenance, our client is offering reliable, professional and personalised lift repairs and maintenance services to businesses, councils and independent lift owners.

Working as a Lift Service Engineer brings responsibility for minor repairs and maintenance of all types of Industrial Lifts. All Lift Engineers will have a comprehensive engineering background with the ability to carry out minor repairs on passenger and goods lifts from various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
o Attend maintenance visits on vertical lift
o Carry out an effective risk assessment
o Completion of site log cards
o Ensure a high standard of quality and delivery of service
o Attend maintenance and call out visits on lifts
o Carry out minor repair work
o Participate in 24 hr call out rota covering the whole of our region


Key Requirements:
o NVQ level 3 within Lift Engineering or equivalent is essential
Full UK driving license
o Proven experience in the maintenance and minor repair on a range of electrical, mechanical or electronic equipment, in the customer`s environment
o Some experience of computer or PDA use is essential, as you will be required to use a mobile comms unit to log all calls and access customer and equipment information

Salary And Benefits:
o £40,000/Annum
