Job Description

Job Title: Live Chat Advisor

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Salary: basic £17,000 pa, OTE £23,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 -17:30

Key responsibilities:

-Be the first point of contact for customers on the website who wish to engage via live chat

-Ensure all customers are passed through to an account manager as efficiently as possible

-Handle roughly 100 chats per day and 50 enquiries per day

-Liaise with other departments such as Customer Care, Aftersales etc to forward messages on.

-Will receive some sales training to manage certain queries and ask the right questions which will help conversion rates for the sales guys

-In time have the ability to provide rough guidelines on quotes and eventually be able to deal on chat

-Provide reporting to management on profitability of source on a monthly basis

-To hit minimum performance targets

-To maintain a work rate and level that falls in line with the company's objectives

-Follow all company procedures

-Adhere to the FCA rules and guidelines

-To treat your colleagues and the work place with respect

-To offer our customers a high level of service and maintain good customer satisfaction and retention

The type of candidates we are looking for:

-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

-Professional and friendly manner

-Ability to work to your own initiative with minimal supervision whilst working in a close-knit team.

-Self-motivated, driven and passionate about your role

-Organisation and the ability to manage numerous tasks at one time is vital

-Customer service

-Experience working to and hitting performance targets
