Job Description
Job Summary
- Ensure designated areas of the business are compliant and delivering a high standard of care.
- Ensure operations are in line with CQC regulations.
- Report to the Senior Management team on a regular basis.
- Take a hands-on approach when necessary to address issues.
- Register with CQC as the Registered Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC and Local Authority standards.
- Maintain clear oversight of all responsible services.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of all sites.
- Supervise Service Managers and Deputy Managers as needed.
- Ensure all required reporting is completed to a high standard and within the appropriate time-frames.
- Communicate effectively with external agencies.
- Oversee internal quality audits.
- Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Manager regarding complaints.
- Support services in safeguarding reviews.
- Assist managers and staff in consistently delivering high-quality care and support.
- Work in partnership with CQC and Local Authorities to maintain "good" standards and work towards "outstanding" ratings.
- Implement action plans using SMART principles.
- Ensure all Service User documentation is of high quality, fit for purpose, and follows a person-centered approach.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of current MCA/DoLS legislation.
General Responsibilities
- Support compliance with CQC requirements.
- Maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, and at times contentious information effectively.
- Undertake all required core training and additional professional development as needed.
- Carry out other delegated tasks and responsibilities within the scope of the role.
- Adhere to organisational values, policies, and procedures at all times.
