Job Description

Title: Locality Manager
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time (37 hours per week)
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
Salary: £33,803 - £ £38,023 per annum depending on experience

I am currently working in partnership with a client who is looking for an extraordinary Locality manager with a commitment to high quality support and focus on personalisation to join the team as an experienced Locality Manager to manage their scheme.
This scheme is one of their newest services as a part of Later Life living providing 24-hour support for people aged 55 and over. Based on a holistic assessment of individual`s needs, the scheme works within the framework of Person Centred Care, incorporating Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support.

This Individual will be reporting to the Head of Service Operations you will have overall responsibility for managing and monitoring the scheme and ensuring the delivery of appropriate individualised care and support to service users. It is essential that you have experience managing supported living schemes for older people and a strong working knowledge of the framework of Person Centred Care and Positive Behaviour Support.

You will need to have an NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management and experience of working with Individuals with 55 and over You`ll be passionate about providing quality care and personalised services with the ability to drive improvement within budgetary controls. An understanding and knowledge of the principles of positive behaviour support, relevant legislation and CQC standards will be essential for this role.
" Planning and implementing strategic changes to improve service delivery.
" Overseeing the day-to-day management of our organisation, a specific unit or a service area.
" Implementing new policies and directives.
" Managing the recruitment, selection, appraisal and development of staff;
" Producing care plans and ensuring their effective implementation.
" Need to have Supported Living experience of managing a service
