Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a temporary Account Handler with Logistics and Warehouse experience, to work with a well established food and drink distributor based in Salford.
This role is temporary for 12 weeks with the possibility of it going permanent.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Daily Order Audit Checks
- Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly service reporting
- Order chasing and delivery issue resolution
- Parcel traffic order planning and communications
- Planning Export order collections - Haulier Quotes and confirmations
- Export Order operational and bond interfaces and communications
- Maintain export control tools
- Ensure HMRC compliance of information and communication for export hauliers
- Special delivery order management and cost control
- Export order - samples for French and Irish orders
- Export suspended well compliance
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Attention to detail/ accuracy
- Good geographical knowledge
- Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Adaptable approach to work/ training/ working hours
- Conscientious and reliable with adaptable attitude
- Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information
- Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
- Able to work on own or as part of a team
- Proactive decision maker
Salary is £20,163 - Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00
