Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Newtownabbey who are currently seeking to recruit a Logistics Administrator to join their dynamic team in their Mallusk depot.
Our client has a great reputation for strong customer service so the successful candidate will require a highly professional can-do attitude and effective communication skills via phone and email. Whilst previous experience in logistics is preferable training will be given for this role in a busy and vibrant environment. We seek a motivated person with good administrative and social skills.
* Managing and processing quotations/bookings primarily for import / export UK / Ireland shipments which will include liaising with customers, other depots, and transport companies
* Coordinating transport bookings with our transport department & handling transportation document
* Monitoring the progress of consignments
* Ensuring records are accurate and up to date
* Dealing with Customs & Excise requirements
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Experience using Microsoft Office
* Strong administrative experience - proficient with Microsoft
