Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer of electricity control devices, is recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator on a 1 year fixed term contract basis.

Candidates must have some experience of working within a supply chain role/environment.

Daily tasks include:

Responsible for the order to delivery process
Liaising with freight forwarders on a daily basis - shipments arrive by land, air and sea
Ensure orders are dealt with within the allotted time-frames

Experience:

Supply chain experience is essential
SAP knowledge is advantageous
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work within and manage timescales

Hours of work are full time Monday - Friday. Once trained, the role is likely to be hybrid (after 4 weeks) 3 days in the office - 2 days at home.

Salary is £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
