Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Machine Operator to join a worldwide known Manufacturer located within the West Midlands.

Whilst reporting to the Production Manager your role will involve setting and running the slitting line to slit stainless steel coils or operating the blanking line to cut to length in order to meet the customers requirements in quantity and quality, ontime and to specification in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

With a strong work ethic you must be able to read micrometers, venires and a tape measure. You will have experience of using an overhead crane 5T to 20T and/or Fork Lift Trucks 3.5T to 7.5T would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, must be computer literate and able to read work orders from a production plan in order to meet targets.

Salary is £15,470 to £16,380 (depending on experience), along with 17% shift allowance.

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday, 2 x shift patterns - 6am/2pm or 2pm/10pm on a 3 week rotating basis.
