Job Description

Based in Fulwood, Preston - this support role within a manufacturing plant will be working in an already established and friendly "Pre-Press" team. This will involve managing the supply of work to 13 machines across the plant, delivering/mixing inks, mounting printing plates and the supply of all other ancillary items to ensure the constant smooth-running machines.

Due to current market of candidates and current "COVID" situation I would welcome any previous experience, full training will be given to the right candidate. As long as you are a good organiser, someone who can plan well and prioritise yourself and workload and work well in a team. The team is 5 staff across 3 shifts so you will be working with other teammates too. Also required are great communication skills as you could be dealing with shop floor staff through to planning teams in the offices.

Shift Hours: Current COVID hours:
1 week on 6.15am till 12.45pm (6.5hrs per day with 1 x 30min break) 30hrs per week
1 week on 1.15pm till 8.45pm (7.5hrs per day with 1 x 30min break) 35hrs per week

After COVID shifts will then revert to our original hours:
1 week on 6.15am till 2.15pm (8hr day with one 30-minute break) 37.5hrs per week
1 week on 1.45pm till 22.15pm Monday to Thursday (8.5hr days with one 30 min break), then Friday 1.45pm till 7.15pm (5.5hrs no break on this day) 37.5hrs per week

Rate: starting at £9.88ph (£19,266) and this role also attracts a 20% shift allowance taking the salary to £23,119 (roughly)
*Please note that full 37.5hrs per week will be paid still during the COVID hours in line with all other full-time staff even though you will be working shorter shifts for H&S reasons*
