We are currently recruiting for a number of temporary positions to support with a volume project, working within a local government department in South Ruislip.
We have a total of 10 positions available to start on Monday 5th November, 5 of which will be on an ongoing basis until mid-January and the remaining 5 to be in situe until the end of March 2019.
Working as part of the sorting team, you will play a crucial role in;
- Preparing incoming and outgoing mail for distributing
- Updating & maintaining in house records & shipments
- Manual handling parcels with the requirement to safely handle items up to 10kg unaided and parcels up to 30kg aided by a colleague
- Basic data entry required - you must be IT literate
Please note that due to the department you will be working within, you must remain vigilant and ensure that high security it maintained at all times to maintain the standards of this facility.
Coupled with the stability of working within an ongoing temporary position, we can offer you free on site parking, along with an initial hourly pay rate of £7.83ph, increasing to £9.69ph following 12 consecutive weeks of temping.
Hours of work will be; Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm
In order to be considered for these roles, candidates must be willing to complete a Disclosure Scotland security check. This incurs a one off fee (paid up front) of £25 and usually takes up to 3 working weeks (maximum) to clear.
*Should you be placed successfully within a temporary position, Brook Street will reimburse you with the above fee directly in to you pay following 4 completion of a minimum of 4 working weeks**
