Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Location: Sheffield, Central

Type: Temp to perm after 12 weeks

Rate: £10

Start Date: Monday 14th September 2020

Pay: Weekly

Our client is looking for an experienced maintenance person to look after a commercial building based in Sheffield
This opportunity can lead to a permanent job after 12 short weeks.

You will be working alongside the site manger on site planning the daily task an ensuring all the demands are met.
The position is paying £10 per hours, 37.5 hours week, Flexible.

Main Responsibilities / Duties Include ;

" Reactive repairs on lights
" Reactive repairs on general building
" Reactive repairs on plumbing / toilet facilities etc
" Reactive repairs on mechanical items
" Reactive repairs on drainage
" Assist Mechanical, electrical and A/C engineers with tasks as necessary
" Develop a good relationship and work closely with customer
" Carry out planned preventative maintenance on site
" Collection of waste around site
" Any other reasonable task required to support the business
Qualifications
" Ability to communicate at all levels within the business
" General handyman skills
" Good DIY Skills
" Able to work on own and with others
" Able to carry out detailed instruction
" Able to understand and prepare risk assessments and method statements
" Must be flexible to work to customer demands/priorities
