Job Description

Brook Street UK Ltd are seeking a Maintenance Contracts Officer to start immediately for our client based in Belfast.

Our client's tenants and residents are at the heart of who they are and they want to provide more great homes for families that need them

Our client has advised us that the role is 6 - 8 weeks (subject to review) and urgent cover required

The ideal candidate must be
Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
Have a full clean driving license and be able to travel to meet the job requirements without the use of public transport.
Committed to providing a great customer focussed service.
Able to work as part of a team.
Committed to social housing.



Our client has confirmed that the successful applicant must have:
2 years experience (within the last 7 years) within a construction/maintenance environment AND a third level qualification or equivalent in Quantity Surveying OR 5 years experience (within the last 7 years) within a construction/maintenance environment clearly demonstrating continuous cost control management experience in maintenance contracts

A strong working knowledge and practical experience of managing Measured Term Contracts

Professional Qualification - RICS, MCIOB etc

A working knowledge of the Public Procurement processes

A working knowledge of NEC 3 suite of contracts

A working knowledge of price per property contracts

Be able to demonstrate strong ICT skills including use of bespoke software packages.


In return you will be paid an hourly rate of £13.31.
