Job title: Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Monday - Friday
Location: Leominster (Herefordshire)
Salary: £30,000 -£40,000 (DOE)

My client is a steel construction company based in Herefordshire.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

"You will be responsible for all electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
"You will be responsible for ensuring contractors on site are always following instructions in line with current health and safety legislation and general supervision.
"You will be responsible for all PPM and managing the maintenance tracker.
"You will be ordering parts and communicating with suppliers when required.
"You will carry out reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment
"You will keep accurate and up to date records that can be retrieved at anytime
"You will communicate with the operations and other team leaders on site to ensure the smooth running of production.
"You will be responsible for training staff on daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
"You will be expected to carry out general maintenance repairs on workshop, equipment, welders, paints and pumps.

Maintenance Engineer skills and Experience required:

"Time served apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline
"Preferably you will be able to read electrical drawings
"Must be computer literate
