Job Description

My client in Halifax is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to cover a holiday period 23rd September to 9th October 2019 and then ongoing future holidays (3-4 weeks a year). To be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of plant and machinery.

Main responsibilities:

Attends major breakdowns on a daily basis
Repairs minor electrical faults
Liases with contractors and electrical staff
Conducting risk analysis and improvements to environmental and operational efficiencies
Investigating operational problems affecting production
Ensuring that quality control standards are being maintained
